Bistro at Hotel du Vin

Really enjoyed the food here - for main I had a very rare pigeon breast, my partner had salt beef. Both of these were lovely but the highlight was definitely the pudding. My partner went for homeade cinnamon doughnuts with espresso milkshake and it was one of the nicest puds he has ever had. My Cambridge burnt cream (a take on creme brulee with a Chantilly-like custard cream) wasn't far behind it.
Attentive service and a warm ambience finished the meal perfectly.
